Maeve
Meet Maeve, a Financial Analyst with the Treasury’s Administration and Finance team. While perusing her undergraduate degree, she was a Women in Finance Fellow with the Treasury in 2018. In her role as Financial Analyst, she is responsible for providing expertise and technical assistance in matters of fiscal management, analysis, and evaluation for all Treasury appropriations, accounts, and business processes. Below, Maeve gives her perspective of working at the Treasury.
If you could describe the Treasury culture in one short sentence, what would it be? “The Treasury culture is very inclusive and collaborative”.
What motivates you to work for the Treasury? “The commitment to promote the public good and make a positive difference across the Commonwealth is what motivates me to work at the Treasury. The work we do is interesting.”
As a recent new hire, how was the application and onboarding process? “The Treasury application process was very straightforward and organized. The Human Resources Department was extremely helpful in making the new hire process uncomplicated.”
Maeve’s favorite way to spend the weekend is relaxing and spending time outside. One day, Maeve hopes to have the opportunity to travel to Australia and visit Bondi Beach.
